Here is a link to the restaurant i have researched... i heard the paella , is great great with many different kinds , lamb , meats and all reasonable prices....and i have read the best desserts,, YUMO.....just a thought to put into the hat for places to eat for our special get-together

Joey LOL LOL.....i am sure we will find a place near the hotel to eat.. Your so dipomatic hehehehheh ....I just can't wait to meet everyone.

I for one will be trying all kinds of places during our trip ..I want to try a good paella, good gnocchi, good pizza the italian way, good gryo, and that spinach dish in greece ( can't spell it)..a quiet cappicino on the streets of venice ....and any kind of chocolate anything

PEOPLE watch everywhere so where-ever , La Villa sound great too

Is anyone else interested in doing Athens on their own. It seems the taxi drivers are scam artists there and that the train is the best alternative.

I spent yesterday and will spend more time today consolidating all my notes into one Word document - a page (or more) for each port. It contains all flight info, hotel reservations, tours, costs and tips. And red highlights of things to be done such as arrange for transportation to and from local airport. I will eventually put all the cost information into an Excel spreadsheet so I can plan on how much cash I must have on hand every day. This is a work in progress and will be refined as more info is available.
