I too am glad the Diane and Lou are safe and for the most part dry. It seems to rain up here every hour or so -- a heavy shower followed by clearing and followed by another storm. How long can this continue???

Yes it is getting closer to Barcelona and the excitement is growing. I think we will make our final payment on the day it is due -- I guess it's sometime in August. No rush to give them the rest of the money.

Diane-- Glad to hear you and Lou are OK-- the weather's been so crazy lately!

Tonia-- We'll definitely have to talk later about sharing a taxi. I'm sure the folks at Locanda will give us some advice also. Our flight time has changed also-- our flight is now at 0710. I am hoping to swing getting Monday off also. Fortunately, I generally have quite a bit of flexibility with my job. Especially since it's November. If it was peak vacation season (like now), it might be a different story.

Ooooooh I got so excited today!!! I made a DVD out of my Digital Video taken of our last Europe trip. I saw all kinds of things I'd forgotten about. It's amazing how some things can stir you up....when I got to the place on the movie of our sailaway at sunset on the rear deck in Athens with the guitarist playing and singing, it just sent shivers.........

diane, looks like getting to eze is pretty easy. hope you enjoy your visit and we may see you there. it is not very far away. which is nice and also we have a sea day the day before

jackie, as i stated we hope to do nice, eze, monaco and then back to VF. think we will get back to VF 6-7ish.

what time do you think it gets dark that time of year? id daylight savings observed in europe?
