I use the space bags too. You can get them in various sizes. I've seen them at Target. They are wonderful for things that dont wrinkle or that you dont care if they are wrinkled. Such as T-shirts, underwear, socks. Towards the end of the trip, all dirty laundry goes in them. They are like a big ziplock bag. You seal it and roll the air out - vacuum sealed!

I don't understand. What's the point if the clothing still gets wrinkled. I was under the impression that by using this method one's items do not wrinkle - am I wrong?

The idea of the space bag is to be able to put more in your suitcases by getting rid of the extra air. I don't use them so much enroute to the vacation but more so on the way home to make room for all those souveniors. You are thinking of putting clothing in plastic dry cleaner bags to keep them from wrinkling. That is good for dresses, etc.
