Love2Travel
Tonia To get to St Paul De Vence you will need to get the bus to Nice and then the #400 to SPV. It is an hour bus ride from nice and then when you get there, i think i remember reading you needed to take another bus to the village. I will have to sort thru my info and i can let you know. We decided to pass on SPV because of the time involved and the fact that the bus to SPV does not run as frequently . I think we figured we would have been traveling using public trnasit about 3-4 hrs ( roundtrip) So.... we decided to stay closer to VF and go to Nice, Eze and Monoco. But if you decided to go i have read and heard from many that it is very nice. i am not trying to discourage you , just wanted to offer some information. I am sure you will enjoy whatever you decide to do- afteralll.... we will be in the French Riviera .... whats not to like ;-) Joey, can't wait to check the mailbox today for our pins. i bet they are SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!! thanks again for all your work. zebra
Tonia - here's my take on St P de V.... for what it's worth. We are in port in VF for 16 hours so you'll be able to see 3 or 4 different places, spending a couple of hours in each, also travelling on the French Riviera is so beautiful - everyone on tours will also be spending much of their time travelling, the price you pay to experience the flavor of the country. Here's another option from the other board: Rented a car--38E from Budget in Cannes. An easy, hour drive to SPDV. Very nice, many artists, Marc Chagall's grave, etc. Plenty of time to go to Monaco, Eze, or??? So just another thought....................
