JoeyandDavid
Question Please.........Are you able to request special meals because of your condition... I know you can request but it has to be done before you cruise...
KeithnRita
Definitely better mattresses and In NCL's case--without bedbugs! More live dance music and looser slot machines.
Suzila
On any of the cruise lines I'd like better bedding...pillows and blankets. When we go on a cruise out of Los Angeles, I always bring my own items. The ice cream on Carnival is free...good thing for me. I'd do fine just having chocolate ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only thing I'd like to change is the lack of electrical plugs in an inside cabin. There are so many electrical items we bring with us, we need more than the ONE they offer. I know there are more in the window cabins, but on a short trip we usually just do an inside cabin. sailingrose
Took me a while to think about this one. I'd like shows with Name entertainment (not the hasbeens or the unknowns). In 1998 we were on the Legend to Alaska and we had Buddy Greco and Norm Crosby! On the Mariner of the Seas 2 summers ago we had a comedian named John Benet, hes on evening at the Improv and other shows. We were rolling in the aisles! After a while the singing and dancing thing gets boring so we skip the shows 99% of the time.
Mebert
Suzila, Maybe they should charge for the ice cream. I do BTW, The oceanview staterooms on Carnival only have one outlet too. I pack one of those power strips with multiple outlets to charge batteries and cell phones.
JoeyandDavid
Ive never paid for ice cream on board ...but then again I have only sail Carnival...HAL and Celebrity...Is Princess the only one charging?
zebra
I don't know about them being the only cruise line charging, but they do charge at "Scoops" which is an ice cream parlor out on deck near the pool. All other icecream in the restaurants etc is free of course.
Suzila
Bite your tongue Mebert! I don't want anyone reminding me that I shouldn't be eating so much ice cream. It's enough that hubby says, "You're not going to have ice cream NOW are you?" And, I do always have ice cream after breakfast, lunch, dinner...I just meant I could be happy on a cruise eating ONLY ice cream! Forget all the other superflous stuff...salads, soup, appetizers, steak, lobster, yada, yada, yada. Who needs it? What I really need is just an ice cream-themed cruise. Does any cruise line offer that? Ha ha!
JoeyandDavid
But of course ...the good ship Lollipop!
Lisa63
I'd like to have a greater choice of outside cabins. On most of the ships sailing today, the outside cabins are in terrible locations -- either far forward or aft, or on the lowest passenger deck or under a show lounge. Many also connect to the neighboring cabin, which I don't like because of potential noise. (From my child...who can be a bit loud. I don't want to disturb the neighbors.) I don't need a balcony, and I'm actually a bit fearful of them as we have a child. So -- how about some larger (200 square feet) outside cabins in a better location? Please? And, maybe a few ships in the 30K-40K range, too.
