JoeyandDavid
Hey Avie.. when are you guys getting to FLL which Hotel we booked at the Comfort Suites and will be getting to Fort Lauderdale the afternoon of the 18th?
avie
Good afternoon Joey, We don't have a flight scheduled yet (waiting for Jet Blue to open up!) -- but expect to get to FLL in the am. Maybe have lunch with one of Betty's friends -- we're booked at the Marriott Courtyard -- airport. At least they have the shuttle (complimentary) from the airport to hotel, and from the hotel to cruise terminal. But perhaps we can all get together someplace. I'm still leaning towards the train (with or without dome!) in Panama -- thanks for the link!
zebra
Hey Joey, I'm gate crashing!!! We've done a similar cruise from San Francisco to FLL - 18 days - it was wonderful, we did it on the Ocean Princess. What is your itinerary?

zebra
OK - you only have 3 ports that we did. Aruba - fabulous, Huatulco, very nice but we didn't do anything exotic, just sat at Senor Frog's and Cabo San Lucas we did a boat trip - lovely beaches there. JoeyandDavid
Hi Avie, any thoughts on Costa Rica? http://www.puntarenas.com/puntarenas/
avie
Joey, Yes, we'll be arriving FLL late morning on the 19th; we were going to add an extra day, but the hotel rates got out of sight. So, we're sticking with the 19th! I haven't firmed up any ideas for an excursion in Costa Rica. But I would like to get some that will take us to the rain forests, etc. (Not zip wires, though.) I'm open to all suggestions. Avie
