Clarification: What is a ROLL CALL?

A x ROLL CALL is a place where members can chat about their cruise and get to know one another before they sail. In a venue such as a ROLL CALL, the topics discussed are extremely varied -- from what color shoes to bring on board to simply stopping in to say "Good Morning" to one another.

1. Effective immediately, members who are not booked on a specific ship's sailing and are posting on said ROLL CALL to start trouble or "disrupt" the flow of conversation will lose their posting privileges permanently, and without notice.

Please respect your fellow x members by not disrupting their thread under the pretense of "chatting" with friends who may be on that cruise.

2. Personal discussions between two members should really be handled via e-mail, unless your conmments are really meant for everyone. Additionally, merely mentioning the name of a ship in your post *does not* constitute participation in the thread, but would be considered an attempt to circumvent this directive.

Please report violations of the above by utilizing the "alert" icon located on the upper right hand corner of posts.

Note: The above does not apply to "ROLL CALLS" on sailing that have passed. If you would like, please let us know that you would like to continue your ROLL CALL and we will be happy to accommodate you.

wow... certainly sounds restrictive and almost threatening. Where is the friendly spirit? Oh I know HERE at Cruise Crazies! Thanks Joey for getting us all on board here.
