Checked out Ernie's this afternoon.We were looking forward to eating dinner there. Although the menu looked interesting , we couldn't bring ourselves to eat there. Without getting into specifics , let me just say that I think Quarterdeck would be a better choice.

What do you think of this??? Inexpensive and a wide variety of food - just about anything. We've eaten at Quarterdeck in the area where we live and it was very good.

Like I said in my PM, JOey, please don't worry about the time. We will be there at 8:30, even if we've eaten dinner already. There's always dessert, right??? It will work out just fine. We're really excited to be meeting all Crazies . If you like the idea of Quarterdeck, I'll post a topic letting eveyone know when and where we'll be meeting. Who knows??? Maybe even some lurkers who see the post will come out of the shadows.

Sure, we're in (if food is involved, we're there!!! But meeting all is even more important ). Time: whenever. we're game. I believe David's philosophy is commendable!!!

On our return to Los Angeles, we will be overnighting near LAX (driving out to the Getty during the afternoon, and then meeting friends for dinner). What is your recommendation for transportation from San Pedro? Should we take a taxi the hotel from the cruise terminal? taxi to Long Beach Airport and then get a car from there? Take the ship transportation to LAX? Arrange for a pseudo limo? Or try to get the concierge on the ship to make arrangements?
