Interesting...

Here are a couple of things for you to ponder....

If your hotel near LAX offers free shuttle to and from airport... I would consider buying the transfer to the airport offered by the cruise line, and then taking advantage of the FREE hotel shuttle to and from. (once settled at the hotel you can always take a shuttle back to the airport to pick up the rental.

I would also look into the possibility of renting the car from a company like enterprise you advertises "we pick you up!" and have them meet you at the the pier .. just make sure you can return it to the airport location..

Off the top of my head those are two options i can think of.. I see if i can think of any other options ... I do know that super shuttle is available also from the pier their link is: http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/lax.htm

Lucky, Lucky David. My last day in the office (hopefully) is Wednesday, the 17th. I've scheduled vacation beginning the 18th, but all good plans, etc. etc. etc.

Thanks for the suggestions for the return to the LAX area. We're staying at the Westin on Century, so we do have the shuttle from LAX.

Cheryl and Ole haven't checked in and Deb and Barb haven't responded yet..I have no idea about Princesses group......

Eight looks about right -- your group and ours. I think we may get a few more as the date gets closer. I'm optimistic. Maybe you have to give Princess a few more handicap points (but not too many).
