Getting in cruise mode here also! Booked our airport transpo. Need to start packing. First have to get the house clean & in order for our cat/house sitter who will be staying here.

Excited! I have dreams nightly.

Oh, I forgot to reiterate, we can only do the late dinner, 8:30. We don't arrive until 7:40. This is all assuming we are on time, etc.

So with my group, does that make it 16?

Is it 8 or 8:30? Can you save us a spot in case we are late? We'll get there as quick as we can, but cutting it very close. If we are ruining it for everyone, please let me konw. I won't be hurt. Again, we are supposed to land at 7:40, but by the time we get luggage, drop it off at hotel & taxi to restaurant, it might even be 9:00. What do you guys think?

I would not say that at all Cheryl, in fact if this group is anything like most of our other groups we get together at 7 or so could be there till after 9 for sure.. someone really needs to warn the resturant... :biggrin:

The other point is who ever don't make it we have 14 nights in which to meet.. :biggrin:

Does anyone know what time the resturant closes? the web site gave no information as to hours of operation..

Just called restaurant. They are open till 1Am . No problem with large group. They just need to know 30 minutes in advance to prepare.

Thanks, Gottacruz. What is you real name? I see your picture all the time on here, so I guess I'll have the chance to meet you! Fun. I'd put my picture on, but couldn't figure out how. When I got to the photo upload place, it only gives me a URL choice, not a choice to pull one from my hard drive. Anyone got helpdesk support?

Hello gang we are counting down to embarkation... Looks like our long wait is almost over...

The CruiseCrazies Get Together is taking shape if you would like to have dinner and conversation.. or maybe dessert and conversation.. or just want to say hi....LET us Know ....

The event is scheduled for Friday evening January 19th at the Quarterdeck Restaurant.

Located at 1541 Cordova Road, 33316

From our Summit Group cherole, has assured me that they will be able to make it by 9 pm unless their flight is delayed ( the plane lands at 7:40 and after luggage and a short taxis ride to the hotel should be checked in by 8:15 or so they are a short 10 minute walk from the restaurant.. (Embassy Suites on 17th) we have exchanged contact numbers, she will call if they are running really late or will be a no show..

The Princess Star Group we are still waiting to hear from available crazies...

And any Locals in the area that aren't sailing we would love to get the chance to meet on this night as well....

If we all meet at 7:30 or 8 ish and have a leisurely time we should be still under way after nine...

I know Miss C (Cheryl/GottaCruz) and Jason and the family will have had a long day and want to be there. and still get home at a reasonable time.

So all we really need to do at this point is set a time notify the restaurant and enjoy.
