 We have seen Oahu B4 but I do want to go again to see the Mighty Mo. I am a big history buff and would like to be on the spot where WWII officially ended. One day I'd like to go to Lanai so maybe we can stay in Oahu for a day or so. I like boutique hotels too. We stayed at one in Seattle last yr. Pretty neat.

We did a 10 day cruise of Hawaii with 4 days before in Oahu - Waikiki Beach. I think I liked the big island the most although Maui was great too. I liked the mix of the ship and land there and don't think I'd like to stay for too long on any one of the islands. To qualify this last statement, I grew up at the beach - our house was right on the beach in Durban South Africa - so I've had my fill. But we loved the volcano and waterfalls - too gorgeous. Can anyone say Mai Tai please!

 The one in Seattle is called the hotel Vintage park. It nicely located too. I haven't been in SF in a long time though I had to spend some time there in 1993. I stayed at the Richelu or something like that.

Gosh Joey I wish I'd known you before our last trip to SF - I love that city, it's the sister city to Cape Town, South Africa. Never mind we'll go there again!

We stick to one cruise a year then land base vacations. We're going to VT (to visit family), California then Florida to see the Christmas decorations in Disney World. That'll be it for this year. Next year, we'll start over.

We, also, just started cruising late in life......this year. So far I've been on 3 (DH has been on 2) and we've got another coming up in 2 1/2 weeks. Gotta make up for lost time! We've got a great pool and deck out back so when we're not cruisin we hang out there and play Carribean music and dream of the next cruise  At this point we'd rather use our money for cruises instead of land vacations....
