Just got back from Fascination

Sounds like you all had a good time. I love those cruises close to home. We live and hr. from Pt. Canaveral so we can zip on and off too.

Cheryl RCI also has self assist luggage, you can also request first off luggage tags if they were needed. We usually get off our short cruises on RCI about 7:20 and zip to the car. Home way before 9am including a milk run on the way home.

Carnival on the west coast just started doing self-assist early debarkation and they can't handle it. We did it when we were in Miami, and tried again here in L.A. In Miami we were able to get off the ship immediately, and they didn't check our passports at all.

In L.A. we were cleared to get off at 7:30am, and didn't get off the ship until almost 10:30am! They just don't know how to do it yet. People were livid...it was the worst debarkation I've ever seen.

Glad you guys had such a nice time. I love living close to the port so you can go cruising when the feeling hits you!

After you told that to Wayne, gymbrat, we kept watching for his twin but never found him. Someone else told Wayne he had a voice just like one of the Sopranos. He loved that. Wayne, the mobster. LOL
