Shari2
Mebert...I'm sure they will be cleaning and disinfecting the cabins, but something I always do when I first board the ship, also, is to use some disinfecting wipes like Clorox wipes and wipe down the bathroon myself. I just do it the first day. Makes me feel better. lol Be sure to layer your clothes for different kinds of weather in Alaska! Have a great cruise! Mebert
Shari2, Thanks for the suggestions. It doesn't hurt to be extra cautious. Thanks too for the clothing layer suggestion. My luggage is going to be really heavy. I seldom do cool climate vacations and sweaters and jackets are way heavier than summer clothing. schatje
When we were there in 1997 in September it was 70+ all week ...very nice. We only found it necessary to dress alittle warmer when cruising the fjords and getting close to the glaciers. It would check the weather forecast so you don't have to overpack.
Mebert
schatje, Thanks for the warning. I'll check the weather report and maybe unpack some items.
