Cruising Hawaii

has anyone taken the Hawaian Island cruise on NCL lines? what is the expert opinion on the cruise, ship, itenerary, etc

is it a better deal than picking a hotel and island hopping?

Take a look at the top of the screen and click on 'reviews'. JohnG wrote an excellent review of his cruise on the Pride of America a few months ago. That may help answer some of your questions.

My neighbor also went to Hawaii and cruised on an NCL ship, came back and gave it poor reviews. He didn't like the freestyle dining, but liked everything else about the trip.

However, my husband and I plan to try for an NCL Hawaii cruise next year. While I'm not sure I'd like the dining as it is set up, I really do want to do a Hawaii cruise. I don't think the dining would stop me from planning a Hawaii trip.

thanks Suzila. I missed that review earlier, and it was thorough. Since this might be our one and only Hawaii trip, it sounds like this cruise, coupled with some pre/post time in Honolulu would be enough to see all the sights.
