One thing that would make you give up Cruising???

Do you have one thing that would make you give up cruising and switch back to a land vacations? With all the changes that keep occuring in the industry I'm curious to see what would make you a landlover full time.

Obviously, health issues could have an impact on all cruises, so you surely don't mean that.

There are two things that could make us give up cruising in favor of land vacations. One, the cruise lines get so greedy that they raise the prices a lot. To some extent they're already doing that. When land vacations become much less expensive than cruises, we might stop cruising.

The other thing is personal to us. If all the smaller ships get retired, and are replaced by megaships, we'd stop cruising. That, too, may be on its way to happening.

If ships sailed like EasyCruise where you do your own cleaning and pay ala carte for everything, I'd give it up. I really appreciate the waiters and cabin stewards when we cruise and to not have them would disappoint.

I agree with the others no value. There are many beautiful places to see on land as well. DH was just talking about a land trip in 2 years when he retires. He would like to travel around the US seeing all the most famous National Parks, camping as much as we can along the way.
