Joanandjoe
We're glad you enjoyed your cruise. Fun is fun, no matter which line you sail on. I'm not sure we're convinced rgarding Carnival. The decor DOES bother us, and we definitely are not night life people. If we found the staterooms on Celebrity to be claustrophobic at 175 square feet, I wonder if rooms the same size on Carnival would please us. Also, we've been spoiled by the service on Windstar and Radisson/Regent. (Too bad we can't fiond a cruise on either line, for 2006 or 2007, within our very limited vacation time frame.) popsec
You probably wouldn't be happy with Carnival if you've been on Celebrity and the upper end lines. We found that there were always places where you could find peace and quiet. We also enjoyed the balcony. For us, it was fine and we're looking forward to the Sept cruise when the majority of kiddies will be in school (great that they at least had an adults only aft pool). Shari2
Welcome back, popsec. Glad you had a nice cruise. I'm a Celebrity person, too, but I have considered giving the new Carnival ships a try. There have been so many good reports about them. Thanks for sharing your views.
