We're back from Carnival Victory !

What a wonderful cruise! I am glad we gave Carnival a second chance, as it exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. We were blessed with great weather in both Halifax and Saint John and smooth seas the entire trip. I thought the ship was beautiful -- the photos I've seen do not do her justice. My husband and I particularly liked the Lobby Bar area, for those familiar with the ship. We had been on near-sister ship Carnival Destiny, but felt that Carnival Victory had the more appealing decor, in our opinion.

Our two ports were fabulous, as always. This was our fourth time in Halifax and third in Saint John, and we seem to find new things to do on each visit. I will elaborate in a review in the coming days, but I am happy to answer questions in the meantime.

I was glad to hear you liked your cruise, Lisa! We just booked on the "Carnival Liberty" for September of 2007. We haven't been on Carnival since 1987, so we are giving them another try, too!
