Bob and I met while working at the Pennsylvania Public Health Lab ---- He left to work at a large commercial clinical laboratory as the Supervisor in Clinical Virology and Immunology over 20 years ago. I on the other hand stayed on in various positions including the State Laboratory Training Coordinator and Bioterrorism Coordinator. Alas when faced with making more money by retiring at an early age than staying I retired. I immediately found my present position as the Clinical Coordinator for the Medical Laboratory Technician Program at the local Community College. I just love academia and especially the wonderful mentoring that takes place at our institution. While I get paid as a part time instructor I still put in full time effort and love every minute of it. After all those years change was good.

Except how to spell after a 12 hour day with no air and 1 phase of power missing.

Make that Training Coordinator. I train managers and crew to do it the right way. Not the way they think it should be done. Dave wanted it done the right way everytime. I was lucky enough to meet him and I had a picture taken with him.

He was a very sincere man. When he visited stores the first place he went was the back of the store to meet the crew. He said he meets customers everywhere but the crew is the backbone of Wendy's.

I really miss those commercials
