Dress up or Nnot?

Many of us don't have the opportunity very often to dress up so we take full advantage of the ability to wear our tuxedo's and evening wear on a cruise. On the other hand other's of us (like me) feel that the cruise is geared to relaxation and prefer not to dress up (if we can get away with it.)

What does everyone feel about dress up?

I love getting dressed up. Now I don't normally do so on a short cruise but on 7 days or longer I bring the gowns. DH doesn't have a tux but wears his suit. I just love those formal night pics!

I love to dress up and buy new outfits for a cruise.

We both enjoy getting dressed for dinner, especially on Formal Nights. We rarely have a chance to do it at home so take full advantage of it when we can.

We've done the formal night thing on all our cruises this year but I'd rather not if I had a choice. DH likes to dress up...

I don't mind getting dressed up, and I have two gowns to take with me on our Alaska cruise in a few weeks. Both were worn last year at our sons' weddings. Hubby will wear his suit, and also doesn't mind getting dressed up.

However...we're both jeans people. Wouldn't miss getting dressed up at all.

We don't have much opportunity to get all dressed up around here so we look forward to formal nights....this year during our B2B we will have several occasions to do so and we will beable to repeat our outfits the second week. :smiley: We also like to dress nice during regular dinner nights and go dancing first.

We enjoy dressing up. i went out and bought a tux just for my cruises. I really don't care what other people wear. We also get dressed to the nines. :grin:
