jbond
I have both a white and a black jacket and take them on every cruise. Which one I wear depends on the colour of Moneypenny's dress. Light coloured dress, I wear white, dark or deep colour I wear black. Being from California, this only wear white between Memorial Day and Labor Day doesn't hold water with us. What do the fashion police know? I've seen some of them from the other board on a cruise and they are definitely more talk than action. Buy the white jacket, you won't regret it, except when everyone keeps thinking that you're the head waiter.
boba
 I just take a black one. I'd hate to pack 2 tuxs, there'd be no room in my bag for dw's extra clothes. Besides, I'm a slob, I can't wear white.

JohnG
Like the Skipper and jbond, I take both me tux and the white dinner jacket for different looks on different formal nights. And like someone said, a white dinner jacket is always appropriate in the tropics. I left it home for Alaska  . I actually think I like the white dinner jacket better. But if my wife is wearing white, I wear the tux. Anything else .. the white dinner jacket.
JoeyandDavid
What is a fair price to pay for a (QUALITY) dinner Jacket
Gregswife
From a woman's point of view, I think a man in a tuxedo is absolutely a breathtaking sight. Even after all these of marriage, it really makes my heart race when Greg dons his.

Gregswife
From a woman's point of view, I think a man in a tuxedo is absolutely a breathtaking sight. Even after 29 yrs. of marriage, it really makes my heart race when Greg dons his. ever think it is greg and not the tux  hmmm either way its good to hear Okay, Joey, I will admit that he definitely has something to do with it, as I get the same feeling when I hear the garage door go up because I know he is home (yeah, I know it's corny - the kids are always making fun of us!!!). But I do stand by my statement about a man in a tux - it is certainly a sight to behold. I think God invented the tux just to make any man look hot!!!!
