sailingrose
Joey, RCI has the same policy but many have brought wine aboard without any problem. I'd just pack it in my checked luggage.

elfed
Oh Dear, so one cannot bring even a bottle of wine or champagne on board at embarkation? Not good. I woudn't mind if the on board drink prices were reasonable but what I've read they are taking passengers for all they can get. I think this ruling stinks. As far as the ruling effecting the 18-21 year olds-that's O.K. But I'm definately not going to pay their dining room wine prices. 28 dollars for wine that is 12 here. Or 8-12 dollars a glass. No way Jose as the expression goes. Maybe I should stick with Carnival. Now you've wound me up!!!! Regards, James. JohnG
I've used Ocean Promotions in FLL at 800-225-5536 for gifting customers in all US, Hawaii, and Seattle/Vancouver. Don't know how these new RCL/CEL policies will affect them. Guess I should call and find out.
JoeyandDavid
Thank you John.... Keep us updated if you would on what you may or may not find out!
JohnG
Ocean Promotions indicated they are having no problem. Probably because they have to pay the cruiseline a fee to deliver.
JoeyandDavid
so what i am hearing you say .." if we want something other than what is availible on ship be prepared to pay Premium Times 3"
JohnG
Not at all. The cost of a bottle of Frexneit, for instance, delivered, is from $20-30, depending on the port. Other wines are less.
