sailingrose
I don't call it smuggling if I carry it on and no one stops me. I know the chances are they might take it but I'll try anyway. My one bottle of wine won't be hurting their bottom line. Most of the time I don't even bother and just pre-order wine to our cabin. Always a shame that a few bad apples ruin it for the rest of us. jtutak
Yes,worry about your own behavior not anyone else's please. Like you are perfect. The argument about kids is stupid IMO you should do what you want in the privacy of your own room. I guess you think if the cruise lines charged you for breathing air that would be OK. teacp
Just stating my opinion just like everyone else in posts before me......I don't know why you are being rude to just me but that's okay I can take it.
JoeyandDavid
You are so right Jim! .. In your stateroom ….You should have the right to get drunk out of your mind maybe even fight someone or fall off of a railing because you are so drunk you cant think straight. Yes, you have that right... But you don't have the right to interfere with my experience because you want to become silly all for the cost of liquor.. Just my opinion.. joey

JoeyandDavid
I totally Understand Jim.. I too am very disappointed…Imagine if you will, planning a romantic trip thru the Mediterranean for you and that special someone your DW and for over a year half...you plan and fantasize how will sit on your aft verandah that is so coveted and enjoy local wines that you discovered that day.. Enjoy as we toast each other while sailing away... And all that ended when this new decision was instituted.. Bottom line like it or not…This is part of the new RULES for sailing with Celebrity.. I was taught you follow the rules in life. Not you follow the rules, when its what you want to do, .. but always .. If don't like the rules you play that game.. or you get them to Change the rules. IMHO there is right way there is wrong way. Earlier you made a statement Yes,worry about your own behavior not anyone else's please. Like you are perfect. I don't believe It's not a matter of anyone being perfect, it's a matter of integrity. Jim I wish we could take our favorites beverages along with us .. At this point the rules say we can't. At the end of the day. I will make my feelings heard, and buy their product while lobbying for change.. That's the only way I know how to do it.. But as always you may do as You feel you need to do.. I agree It is disappointing though. Always the Best Joey

Well I have and I will take a bottle of Hpnotiq ( to make some Hpno-Tinis). Celebrity at the worst will confiscate it and return it at the end of my cruise. A risk I am willing to take. So all the people who live in glass houses fell free to cast the first stone. PS this is my last post in this topic because it is getting to be a PiXXing match.
