Beeping swimsuits?!?!?...now I've heard it all!

Saw a scroller at the bottom of the screen on Fox news yesterday that said a company in Canada would begin selling "beeping" swimsuits next month! They have a UV sensor built in and will beep when you've had too much sun......you've gotta be kidding! Can you imagine a bunch of beeping swimsuits around the Lido deck??? :shocked:

What did they say abt them?.....it was just a small 2 sentence blurb I saw abt them and I was left speechless :shocked:

Soooooo many questions......so few details. How does the suit know if you are a fair skinned redhead who burns after 15 minutes in the sun or an olive skinned brunette who could endure a bit more time in the sun without burning? If the beep is set to go off for the "average Jane", the redhead is gonna get fried. I think I'll stick with sunscreen and common sense, thank you.

I imagine it is heat sensitive and the raise in body heat will set it off.. don't know but thats my guess

And if it malfunctions, your suit might be beeping in your suitcase as you walk through security. Not a good thing. :undecided:
