btate
I have a digital camera that is small and has good quality pix! The battery life is long and rechargable. I have 3 batteries for it and they take about 250 pictures with flash each. I have a memory card that will hold 800 pix and another that will hold 400 pix. I also have a case I can put it in that will allow that same camera to go under water rated at 100 meters. The view screen is large and clear so I can view the pictures easily and you can see about everything easily. It is small enough to put in my pocket and works great for motorcycle trips as well. I went so far to purchase 2 other digital cameras a little less expensive so when someone asks to borrow my camera, I give them loaners. When those are loaned out, then they need to wait to use them. . . I don't loan my good one out. (I guess I am selfish)

teacp
We have a HP photosmart 5.3 MP and 21xzoom with a HP photosmart printer to match. I don't know much about cameras but I know this one is user friendly for camera challenged people like me.

Suzila
This is the digital I have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007CZ70...9147259?ie=UTF8 It's a Sony Cybershot DSCP200 7.2MP Digital Camera 3x Optical Zoom. I like it because it's very small, fits in my pocket, is super-easy to use, and has a large screen. All my pictures come out clear. It comes with a 32MB memory card that holds only 100 pictures, but I have a card that holds 1400 pictures. So far, I haven't reached that level, but maybe I will on our Alaska cruise in two weeks! I would definitely suggest this camera for anyone...it's so easy.
teacp
Yes Joey.........it is auto everything and very easy to use............my son has one with so many bells and whistles you would need camera 101 to use it.............I love it and probably buy another HP because of the ease in use
rogue
I use an Olympus with 4,1 mega pixels. It has a 10x optical zoom, and a 4x digital zoom. I got the camera a couple of years ago when we were going to Alaska. I have taken some 40x shots. They do come out grainy, but not enough to be unhappy with it. The camera is very good outdoors, but usually needs a flash indoors.I wanted the large zoom just in case we saw wildlife at a distance. It is not one of those very small cameras, but that's one of the things I like about it. I have large hands, and have trouble with the small cameras. This camera is very easy to use.
cruiseduo
I have two digital cameras. A Kodak 7530 5.0 megapixel "point and shoot" and a Canon 35mm 6.2 megapixel Digital SLR I would prefer to take the Canon on cruises because I have wide angle, telephoto and zoom lenses that I use. However, I only take it when I can drive to Port Canaveral or Fort Lauderdale. When I fly I would need to carry on my Canon camera equipment to keep it safe from the baggage folks. The Kodak 7530 is a great camera and easy to use. Small, pocket sized, and quality images. When I take it I miss the creativity of the SLR. If you own a Kodak camera, I offer you my personal thanks . . . . my pension appreciates your decision! I look forward to our next two cruises . . . . Caribbean and Bermuda when I'll take BOTH digital cameras.
btate
Some great comments. I forgot to mention that mine is an Olympus 510 (I think). Does anyone else have a camera that has a case that goes underwater? Anyone have a camera that is amphibious? I looked for one for a long time, but either too much money or too cheap looking and not enough features.
