i would like to see RCI give out free cruises not just on there credit cards

rewards or maybe more of a discount on cruises.

Have to agree with you there. Cruised a lot with Princess and the Elite benefits can't be bettered, (unless you know otherwise :wink: )

Strange. I would have thought that laundry service would be top priority especially on longer cruises, and what about the canapes :wink: ad the dedicated check in and the tender service. I could go on............ mini bar etc............

We are working for the elite platinum on Princess. We go for atleast 14 days now so laundry and internet are important to us.

I buy the $100+ internet packages because I have to keep in touch with my business when I cruise. The free internet on Princess suits me fine. I doubt I'd use that much in laundry.

I, IMO, don't think that Princess Platinum Elite compares to RCI Diamond Plus. Except for the complimentary laundry. When they get a Concierge Lounge with all it's services, I'll agree that they are on a par. RCI Diamond is way better than Princess Platinum, but you do need three more credits. It is almost on a par with Platinum Elite. One advantage of RCI over Princess is that you get extra credits for longer cruises an suites. We have never cruised with Princess on a seven day cruise. Always 10, 14 or 17, but they only give you one credit. :angry:

As for internet, it's complimentary on Princess at Platinum, but I'm usually so busy I don't have time. The only time I've ever used it was on Island, five sea days and lousy weather.

Love that priority tender ticket on RCI, but they tender better than Princess anyway. Priority boarding on both Princess and RCI is a great feature.

I prefer to do my own laundry. I have sent pants to be cleaned but wouldn't do that on a regular basis.

Concierge is better IMO as the mini-bar set up is only once and the concierge is every night.

No way would I prefer to do my own laundry! I now only take half the number of clothes because of the free laundry, and when the mini bar runs out, I bring out my gin bottle, and I would have a lot of catching up to do with RCCL. Haven't cruised with them yet!
