more security at ports

has anyone heard of new security at the ports

and what we need to do now to get onboard?

only passports will be aloud starting jan 1st 07

also starting December 31, 2007 -a Passport will be a Requirement for all land border crossings as well.

I called RCCL and they advised that theres no changes for the items banned by airlines for carry on,you can have them on your carry on,but if your flying then this wont pertain to you since you will already have your items packed for checked luggage! But you could take them out to put in your carry on so you would have the most important personal items! :wink: Im driving down so I can pack my stuff for carry on for boarding the ship! :wink: I would check a week before cruising to make sure! also I only called RCCL! I would assume all cruise lines have the same policy still! :wink:I would still check with the cruise line you are on! :wink:

Just heard on the news of problems at the Seattle port - apparently sniffer dogs have discovered something....... this is breaking news.
