sailingrose
Story of our lives here in Florida. I just restocked our food supply so I guess we'll do fine. My DS decided to go shopping at our house before he went back to college. LOL Does it to me every year but this time I didn't go food shopping before we went away! Joke was on him.......... Thanks for worrying about me! Hope all the Floridians are watching this one.

zebra
Yep we're keeping an eye on this one - one good thing is that we can hitch up the RV and get out of it's way....great to be mobile. They don't think it'll pose a problem to Florida - but I guess it's too soon to tell. The price you pay for living in paradise

zebra
I guess it's the case of seeing the black spot on the white board - 98% of the year Florida is awesome!!! Well now that we'll be moving around it seems one can pick their poison, hurricanes......tornadoes......earthquakes...mega hailstorms - I prefer the one's that we have a fighting chance of getting out of the way of before they hit!! cruiseduo
We've lived in Dallas with tornadoes, Louisville in golf sized hailstorms that dented our RV, San Francisco with earthquakes and now in Florida with hurricanes. I agree with zebra, hurricanes are the best of the three. Early warnings give us the opportunity to prepare and/or get out of the way. Tornadoes and earthquakes give no warning. sailingrose
Very true all you Floridians. We just make the best of a bad situation. Nothing else you can do but prepare. Funny each year preparing takes longer..........
