:cool: Hello all: We got in late last night so I thought to drop in and say high. :cool: I will post a full TR soon but suffice it to say for now that FP, esp. Raiatea and Moorea are the most beautiful places on earth I have ever seen. No wonders the Bligh's crew tossed him overboard and stayed. :grin: However paradise has a price. It is by far the most expensive place I have ever seen! Glad we chose to cruise. :cool: Cheers, Larry

Glad that you had a great time. My feeling was that every island we visited got Moorea and Moorea beautiful. Moorea was my favourite, followed by Bora Bora.

I have strong feelings about Captain Bligh, I've read a lot about him, researched the internet and I truly believe that Fletcher Christian was not only the bad guy, but a true scoundrel and a coward. But I agree with you, why would those sailors want to go back to cold, damp, foggy England after seeing Paradise. Guess the Royal Navy had different standards.

The great thing about cruising in FP is that you are not exposed to the horrendous cost of living there. I don't consider myself cheap, but I did gulp a few times at the cost of things.

Welcome back folks. Glad you had a good time . That is a cruise I'd love to take.I've been intrigued by The Mutiny on the Bounty saga and it would be great to visit some of the islands involved. Ah, well maybe one day........

Welcome home Larry....yes Tahiti is still on list of places to cruise to. I would be particularly interested in your reivew of the Tahitian Princess - can't wait to hear!
