Grabbing a lounge chair on the deck (not by the pool) and reading a good book.

Very good question Joey and David.With me the first day at sea I'm up usually at the crack of dawn to video the ship deck by deck. This is a fabulous experience with not a soul in sight except the staff who are usually swabbing the decks. After breakfast my wife and I "Sunout" so to speak at the stern of the ship until Trivia Time. This is follwed by more sunbathing-in other words it's the 4 S's. i.e. Ship, Sea, Sky and Sun. We stay on deck until late afternoon and then enjoy the hot tubs and a less crowded swim in one of the pools. How can anyone NOT enjoy cruising with a holiday like that?

We'll sit otdoors somewhere to read for a while, then, if we're on a Princess ship, go to one of the art autions.

DH will find a promenade deck chair or layout on the balcony for a nap. Me, I'm reading, looking at the ships art or just gazing out at the blue blue sea!

We usually lounge around the pool, or on the deck above the pool, sipping on umbrella drinks, reading, and people watching! :cool: :cool:

I take alot of photos of the ship, especially the art work done in fruit...they are a hoot. I sit out on deck watching the wake and getting some sun. I play the ship games.

Play Bingo!!!!!!!!! And all the above, sun, swim and trivia. I also like to have a spa treatment while getting rocked to sleep by the pitch of the ship.
