JoeyandDavid
As you guys know we tend to book early.. 50 % of our choices aren't currently available, but i want to be ready to pounce when it is .. My question is simple.. Should we go on the new Century for our first TA adventure to Amsterdam a ship which we love or upscale our Cruise experience and try Oceania Cruise Lines ... What would you do? Joey
elfed
If it was me, I'd probably go with Oceania. Why? Well it's a very casual (no tie reqd) laid back cruiseline. There's not a huge crowd of guests as the ships are on the smaller side (under 55000 tons) The food is of the very highest calibre. Officers mix freely with the guests including the captain making the atmosphere most enjoyable. You are not likely to be bothered by young children or loud teenagers although there doesn't appear to have lots of activities compared to Celebrity. I will be interested to hear of your decision. Regards, James.
Rat
Joey, as much as I love Celebrity, you have to give Oceania a try. Their transatlantic cruises are relatively cheap too!

mercedes
I am like you Joey, I tend to book early also (in fact I have a list with my vacation plans for the next 5 years). I am planning a Scandinavian cruise on the Century (my first time with Celebrity), I did read some good reviews about them, plus because of my credit card points, I can get $1,000.00 off the cruise price. I did get a brochure and I think a DVD from Oceania last week, and their ships look fabulous, I would probably book my Asian cruise with them.
