elfed
O.K. Folks here is your Labor Day Question from the James Book of Queries! JoeyandDavid
for us two are tied.. the HAL Ryndam and Celebrities Century. The Reasons?......Personality and Size. Joey
saltydog
For Sally and I (or is it me?), We liked HAL's Rotterdam VI and Celebrity's Galaxy. Both for wonderful service and classic ship design (especially Rotterdam). Also MSC's Lirica had a nice Italian flavor. Shari2
I love the "Infinity." Although I was on her when she broke down once with "pod" problems, I still love the ship. She's a great ship with a great crew.
jbond
For us, I think that it would have to be Nordic Prince. It's a nostalgia thing. It was our first cruise with RCI back in 1980 and our first 14 day cruise. We were with our two daughters and we had great table companions. They came to both our daughter's weddings many years later. We also had great service and I do think that the food was better in the "old days". Our head waiter was the best. We have since sailed with him three more times, the most recent was last year on Brilliance, where he was the Food and Beverage Manager. Of the more recent cruises, I think Serenade of the Seas is probably our favourite. We like the Radiance class ships and Serenade had something special about it. mrssully
For us the Explorer was our first Voyager class ship and the Jewel of the Seas our last cruise.
sailingrose
I love them all but if I had to choose I'd pick RCI's Radiance for her beauty and classic lines. I also love Sovereign of course since we've sailed her many many times.

hazelson
Carnival Pride - a little smaller than the others and easy to navigate around.
elfed
This is really interesting-keep 'em coming folks. Actually I guess I should tell you my favourite. Alas she is no more. The Costa Riveira was towed to Alang in India I believe it was in 2004 for scrapping. It was my first cruise in 1990. At 36000 tons she wasn't too big and the people both staff and passengers were great. The food, entertaiment and fun stand out in my memory. Nothing comes close today unfortunately to that little ship. Regards, James.
