I am type 2 diabetic and just started adding insulin to my meds. My question does the ship supply you with a sharp device to dispose of my syringes? I am sailing on HAL Ms Ryndam.

Rick,

I am diabetic and sailed the Legend in April. I called the special needs number for Carnival and they sent me forms to fill out for my meals and asked what kind of meds I took, etc. When I got to my cabin there was a device (that red thing) for my lancet needles as I take oral meds but you would use the same ones for your needles. Just call that number Joey gave you and they will be more than willing to help.

:smiley: :smiley: I called HAL today, and they will have a sharps device in the room, if it is not all I need to do is go down to medical and pick up one. They were very helpful...I also made my reservation for the Pinnacle Grill on 9/22 at 6:30PM, I wanted to try this one... :smiley: Thank you all for you help.

Thanks Cheryl.... the soup is simmering as I type and now I am going to relax and watch my soap opera that I tivo every day and can go fast thru it without the commercials...........

I also want to put together some white chicken chili for during the week. I like to cook a few dishes at once so that I am not tempted to dine out too much and eat things I shouldn't.

I was wondering is there not bus service available for DD. I see you drive her and pick her up that must be a little bit of a hassle?
