No not at all...........My DH says they are a different kind of stingray(I hope he knows what he is talking about)

Sorry about the size I just can't seem to make it smaller. When I try in Photobucket it makes it too small to see

Wow I didn't know he passed away! Guess I missed it.

No, it wouldn't stop me but I've been there and done that and don't think I'd do it again anyway. Helicopter's crash in Alaska all the time and I'd still go on one there again.

It was sure a shock to read how he was killed. We have already done the sting ray city think twice, so probably would not be doing it again anyway.

LOL at Arvids....

As I recall, the cruise director on one of our cruises said the only way a stingray could hurt you was if you stepped on it's spine. He said it would be very painful but not deadly. Of course he was referring to the stingrays in the Caribbean...not the ones off the coast of Queensland.

I would swim with the stingrays again in a heartbeat.
