my guess is bacon or some sort of ham hock..... (at least it is in my recipes)

Its a Blend of Garlic,Onion,Chili Pepper,Spices and Salt and is Mfg. by Fiesta Spices.com You can go to that site and itll tell you more it just gives your Beans a better flavor and its got most of the spices you need its real good!Us Texans use a lot of different Ingredients!
