Back from the Grandeur

Hi everyone - we are back from our Grandeur cruise and despite hurricane Ernesto and a broken rudder on the Grandeur we had a terrific time. I really hope none of our Cruise Crazies friends were scheduled to leave on the Grandeur yesterday as that cruise has been greatly altered due to the mechanical problems with the ship and hurricane Florence bearing down on Bermuda. We were more than 8 hours late getting into port due to the rudder problems.

The Grandeur is a great ship - showing a little wear and tear but not enough to bother us and the food and service were great. I will try and get a review done by the end of the week. It's good to be back home and it looks like I have a lot of catching up to do here.

Welcome home, Mary Lou. Glad you enjoyed your extended cruise.

I have several friends on the current sailing -- although sailing might not be the right word as they are still in port. This will be a three-day cruise to nowhere, yet they are making the most of it as they are enjoying each others' company.
