zebra
Piano Man last night was fantastic!!! It was our first formal night and everyone looked wonderful in their formal wear. We sat at a table by ourselves and enjoyed each others company, although we much prefer sharing a table with other folks - but that's what is great about Personal Choice - it's your choice daily!!! This morning we formed a team of 6 and played trivia - didn't do too well only got 10 out of 20  So answer this one: What color is Yak's milk? (No looking it up on the internet!!!! ) Just played bingo - no I didn't win..... but one of the couples we played trivia with won 2 games at Bingo!! Yes it's pretty foggy today, right now we're off the coast of San Francisco - but we know we have lots of hot weather in our future. Speak to you all later. Remember to get a picture with the bridge of the Americas as a backdrop...ask at the pursers desk they should know the time of day the ship sails under it... I understand it is a must ... zebra
Well we've just got back onboard here in San Diego. The weather is perfect! (Thanks Tonia - I'm sure you ordered it for us). We spent most of the day at the San Diego Zoo, which was really worth the trip. Last night we had dinner at the Sterling Steakhouse - $15 per person and the food was magic, my steak hung off the end of my super large plate.. of course there's no way we could do justice to our steaks. For this 17 day cruise the "Coke Card" cost $67.50 - what a ripoff!!! Who is going to drink that amount of Diet Coke in 2 and a half weeks - not me. We've also noticed that the good wines have gone up to $7.50 per glass, wines on Princess were always much more reasonable than the other cruise lines, and you now you also pay for specialty coffees. Nickel & diming...hmmmm???? But in spite of all this - the cruise has been great and we're now looking forward to the Mexican Riviera. Tomorrow is a sea day and then on Friday we'll be in Cabo San Lucas. I love the free internet access, but I promise I won't bore you any longer  Ciao for now!!! KeithnRita
Jackie, we are enjoying these live updates from your cruise. On the CP we attended the wine tasting seminar in our dining room. We had 4 small glasses of wine for $9.50 a person and we each received a neat looking little wine glass. It was the best wine bargain we found on our Princess cruise.
