Another very calm sea day here guys!!! Are you all enjoying work??

We had an interesting announcement by the captain last night: This is the bridge, code Alpha, code Alpha in Regency diningroom, starboard side. It turned out to be a medical emergency in the diningroom - hopefully nothing too serious. We were sitting with a group in the lounge outside the diningroom having drinks, all speculating what a "code Alpha" was - had a lot of laughs about what it could be - maybe terrorists taking over the ship, fire in the diningroom etc etc

We had to turn our clocks forward one hour during the night, so we woke up real late for breakfast. We have to quit all this eating OMG, we've been walking and walking, so I guess my legs are in a whole lot better shape than my waistline!

We have met some super friendly folks onboard and meet with them each day to play trivia. By the way did any of you guess what color Yak's milk is??? PINK!!!

Ooooh I had a Chocolate Banana Cocktail - thought I'd died and gone to heaven - too many of those and you'll have to roll me off this ship.

We've spent most of our sea days reading and napping, oh yes, I forgot, and eating  Speak to you all later.

Well, yes Jackie i had so much fun at work today

Chocolate Banana....hmmmmmm. sounds super. Glad you are having fun and meeting some nice people. I love sea days.... relaxing, checking out the private nooks and crannies of the ship.

Keep posting as others have said we are having a ball living precariously through you while we carry on the mundane chores of work and home.

Take care.... say hi to Tony!

Hi Jackie,

Sounds like a great trip. Have sailed the Sun and she is a great ship. Your reports are putting me in the mood for our Crown sailing on Saturday.

Cabo is a fun stop. You might want to do the glass bottom boat thing. You can book it right on the pier where the tender drops you. We had not done it for over ten years, but last January did it again and had a ball.

Those Princess perks are hard to beat arn't they. We have don 20 cruises with them and enjoy all the little extras like free laundry and dry cleaning and of course the free internet.

Perhaps we can talk ship to ship after we are on board the Crown via this board of course.

Ed & Roe so sorry to hear the news about Dwight, he's certainly in our prayers - I hope you're still going to be able to enjoy your cruise. Please check in and tell us about the Crown - would love to hear all about it.

Well we are in Cabo San Lucas today, the weather is beautiful but HOT,HOT,HOT - muy caliente!!!!!! Weather.com says it's 100F today! We walked around town and couldn't believe the price of medications at the pharmacies. We bought 100 Amoxicillin capsules for $15 - NO presecription. The last time we were here we did two excursions in one day so this time we are pretty much taking it easy. I just know it's going to be hotter in Acapulco because it was last time (it's all the high rise buildings in the city which block off the sea breeze I'm sure.) Anyhow as soon as we stepped off the tender back on the ship it was tooooo awesome in the air conditioning. (We're spoiled aren't we!!)

We have met such great folk on this cruise... really friendly people, a lot of Canadians and a fair amount of English people as well. The social crew are awesome although I'm not so crazy about the cruise director - we hardly ever see him, normally just when he does his "schpeel" after the shows, he's not exactly Mr. Charisma.

Looking forward to another sea day tomorrow, with the sea breeze blowing through my hair as I lie next to the pool on deck with a Pina Colada - jealous yet hmmmmmmm??????? Yes it's the life!!! The good thing is that all of us here have experienced this and will probably be experiencing it again in the very near future!!!

Well off to the "feeding trough" again - oh I wish I could just eat a salad
