Jason
Cruisetarp has submitted a cruise review of her cruise at the beginning of this month aboard Royal Carib's Grandeaur of the Seas. It's now available within our Cruise Review Directory. Here are the ratings from her review: Entertainment: Good Service: Very Good Cabin: Very Good Food: Very Good Overall: Very Good Thanks for the review Mary Lou! I enjoyed reading it, and I know everyone else will too. The Grandeur sounds like a nice ship. Hopefully next time, cruisetarp, you will have some nicer weather. But it's great to read that you didn't let the weather prevent you from having fun.

schatje
Wow it sounds like you had quite a trip to remember. I'm glad you had the mind to make the best of it.
cruisetarp
I'm glad you enjoyed my review. Thanks for taking the time to read it. I have no idea why the pole was there - it was a complete surprise for us. As for the weather - you can research a ship and all the ports of call til you know them back and forth but there isn't a thing you can do about the weather. You can either let it ruin your vacation or make the best of it. We chose to make the most of it. (I guess this is the price we have to pay for having gotten married during hurricane season. LOL)

KeithnRita
Mary Lou, we loved the review! You guys sound just like us, as we don't let weather and other minor glitches ruin our vacation either. Now, the pole in the room--that is different! We wonder if they show it on the website for that cabin?
cruisetarp
Keith & Rita - No they don't show the pole or note that there are any obstructions. We booked this cruise 13 months out so if we had known we would have moved 1 or 2 cabins away while there was still plenty of cabins available. We managed though although I did note on the comment card that they should warn people about it. I'm sure that will do a lot of good. Mebert
cruisetarp, It sounds like you had a very adventurous time and a blast. Not only did you vacation but you fulfilled some altruistic deeds as well by delivering school supplies to a local school. That is very commendable to think of others while on your vacation. (Did you ever discover what the pole at the foot of the bed was for? I'm very curious.) I noticed many Cruise Crazies were curious about that pole after I posted.
