Mebert
sewut51, You have cause to be very concerned. To me it seems extremely inappropriate for a waiter to interact like that with a child. I would have discretely called him over and told him how I felt and that he should not joke like that with my child again. Of course I would do it after dinner and make sure he wasn't my server for the duration of the cruise. I don't trust what goes on in kitchens after I've made a complaint about someone's character. I'm also sorry that the complaint was about a Carnival crew member. They are usually better than that.

PrincessOne
I would have spoken to the Maitre D and either changed tables or waiters. I would also have filed a written letter of complaint...because what he did was just wrong on so many levels.
JoeyandDavid
It has to do with the elevating of the handle of the spoon as in a similar motion of a man that has been sexually aroused

sewut51
I'm sorry that I didn't explain it well enough that some of you didn't understand. As for reducing the tip, that wouldn't have been fair as my regular server was ill and he was just filling in for her. I'm just not the type to make a scene and I guess, looking back, I should have spoken to the Maitre d'. My husband doesn't like to make waves either. I tried writing to Carnival via contact us on their website. After writing the whloe thing down, I got a msg saying that it could only be 1,000 characters. Grr. Does anyone have an email address for Carnival? Sewut
