bigred
Hi PrincessOne: Everyone we have talked to has had trouble getting their hotels of choice because everything is sold out. First we thought WOW our cruise must be reallly popular. Then we thought maybe just because it was high season. Then someone said it's Super Bowl weekend and that our ship would show it on Sunday. Now you say it's not Super Bowl Sunday. SO_O_O, finally figured out what was going on. There are five ships sailing out the same day as we are and the hotels that are all booked are ones with shuttles to the port. Sail away should be very interesting on the 20th. We got a rate of $125 and thought that was a bargain considering. Must go back to the Packer game even though we are losing and Bret is hurt . . . Bummer. Oh well, the Badgers WON so the weekend was not a total loss. Have a great day everyone!
PrincessOne
ahhh, gotcha... I figure the port area is going to be really busy! We are going to be dropping off our group...dropping off the van and then going to the port afterward! LOL! Hopefully they will all save some food at the buffet! Sorry, but I am thrilled the Pats beat GB!
bigred
Hey PrincessOne! Don't beat a dead horse when he's down. LOL When my kids were little they could not say Patriots so they called them the Patroits. So we still say that to this day. Just a happy little memory. I hold out no dillusions of grandeaur for my Packers this year but we all love our Bret and when he hurts we hurt. However, my husband grew up in Chicago so we are also Bear fans. YEAH! They won (but it didn't look good for a while.). Like I said, our Badgers won though. We were ranked 12th but I don't know if we will end up higher or not. But our basketball team is already ranked 8th to start the season. Hope we can live up to that or better. Sorry, I love sports. ANYONE: What time do you think we will have lifeboat drill? We want to have a sail away party in our cabin and I want to make and send out invites. Guess I could always say AFTER the drill . Have a peaceful night! PrincessOne
Your best bet would be to say "after" the Muster! We are going to the Pats game the Sunday after Thanksgiving....not really sure about the cold though, lol. It would be neat if it were snowing! I don't follow college football. I like college hockey though. I usually route for UNH. Got my Monday list of things to do, lol...everyone have a great day!
