I got to go to a seminar on the Star this past thursday...she is gorgeous...the pool area is unbelievable...all those tiles...just fabulous!

I didn't see any mold....and I did look lol...actually their pools are fresh water chlorinated....

well you should have been on HAL the last time we sailed the Oosterdam..the T-Pool was so nasty .. I made them close and clean it..

they however decided not to refund our money

Yes the fresh water pools is one of the reasons we love Princess so much. So glad you got to go to that conference on her - she's one beautiful ship!!! Awwwwww..... I know - we've been to the Eastern and Western upteen times... but heck at the end of the day - any day on a cruise is great, no matter the destination. Enjoy!!!!!

We are also looking at the Crown Princess out of San Juan for April 26, 2008.

I have a group on hold, but I am not booking until I am onboard the Star in January, to take advantage of the lower deposits and booking while onboard amenities. LOL....

my husband and I are sailing on the Star on Jan. 20th along with our great friends Harvey and Nancy AND Marla and Al. we have sailed on her once before to Alaska. it was FABULOUS! we are in cabin E206 balcony. got it for a song compared to other balcony deals we've had. but we always go balcony. this will be our 10th cruise. we have never planned one on such short notice so this is a real first for us (less than 90 days seems really soon). the six of us have traveled togerther before but NEVER all 6. We can't wait. what is everyone's experience with anytime dining? we are waitlisted for traditional seating #207. also why aren't the shore excursions available yet? CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome BigRed....there are plenty of restaurants for the anytime dining...so hopefully no waiting.

We have traditional dining.

You are right, Princess was offering a great sale on this sailing for the balconies...with BIG upgrades. Our group got a nice deal.

I don't know why the shore excursions aren't available...I have been checking myself.

come out and play! Right Dolores- San Juan!! (We do have to see what's up with Sara- school and braces!) but that is our plan...Maybe we'll just leave the kids home again and cruise!!!! Everyone else- WELCOME aboard!!
