Gregswife
Greg would never do it. He won't even sit close to the front when we go to the lounge to watch those games, because he doesn't want to be visible to the person picking the contestants... cruisefreak
My husband feels exactly the same way about crowds. My principal laughs because getting up in front of crowds makes me absolutely ill, but because of my job, I have to do that several times a year! I'm quite happy sitting in a crowd! sTephanie
elfed
Well Donna and I have not participated in game shows etc, but on our very first cruise on the Nordic Empress now the Empress of the Seas we were singled out on the dance floor. It was a 60's Sock Hop and we dressed up to suit the occasion. I guess I must have made a real fool of myself because we along with two other couples were told to remain on the floor and dance to a classic 60's song. Well we were interviewed prior to dancing and brought howls of laughter from the crowded night club when we told the Cruise Director we weren't married! Never felt more embarssed in my life!LOL. Anyway we finished 2nd and won a couple of RCI drinking mugs. The couple who won was an 80 year old and his 76 year old wife! Yes Honest! They received a great windbreaker jacket each. Regards, James.
KeithnRita
We've never been asked to play, but probably would, with Rita volunteering us. We did perform in a Rock and Roll oldies show on one of our cruises. It was fun and stressful!
Jimmykaboots
OHHH MYYYYY! I love those rock and roll oldies and 60's 70's bash! Are they not the bee's knees, I always bring my cat's pajamas and dress up like a HIP CAT with my long chain and stripped shirt and smiley tie! Are they not fun, common people you know you love them. To bring back the good ol'd times of peace and love without the influence of politics and war. But then again, there's no computers back then with internet lol. Well great fun anyways, I'm also one of those people who shrink down into the chair when they look for volunteers. I have this thing about acting in front of an audience and doing stupid things without rehearsing. Though I don't mind play piano for an audience or reading a speech at conferences. Odd eh? Very nice photo show Keith and Rita, some of the photos arent showing up though, just a small white box with a red X inside, but wow the scenes are so pretty. I absolutely love those clear ocean waters, don't you?
sailingrose
Howie and I have played the Newlywed game once. It was really a lot of fun but also pretty embarassing at times too. My parents played it on the 50th Anniversary cruise we went on and they were a real hoot. I did learn way more than I wanted to about their personal lives however......LOL! Howie has also played Elvis on 50's and 60's night. We figure we'll never see any of these people again so what the heck.

Rat
We would never have the nerve to participate on the Newlywed game. . Even worse, probably not even get a correct answer too!
