Anyone aware of Carnivals VIP status?

Hello,

Seems Carnival has a VIP status and benefits once you hit your 10th cruise, i mean the 10th.

My wife has her 10th planned with me, as she took one with the ladies....poor me. without me..lol....

What are the benefits? :grin:

Harry, we've experienced the ViP Status a few times. I'm quoting from the list we received from Carnival.

I believe it begins after 12, not 10, cruises. On my last Carnival cruise (My 12th) I got a Platinum Sail & Sign card. Every time I used it, the Carnival employee said, "Welcome back to Carnival, Mr. Stern...."

I think Carnival could have done more for their 10 cruise or more guests. How about dinner for two at their extra charge restraunts or a free shore excursion?

Perhaps a tour of the bridge whilst in port. A special lunch with the Captain or one of his senior officers. Terry cloth robes to take home etc. etc.

I know if you book a suite with some other lines you get some of those priveleges regardless whether you have done one or fifty one cruises with their line before. Carnival can do better.

I don't think the perks are so bad. RCI just pretty much the same thing for it's guests at the mid level. Do they have levels for their repeaters club?? I would love RCI to add the wash and fold to their list.

Actually, it is on your 10th cruise. It is called VIP and you are considered Platinum. I just talked to my travel agent at Carnival about this last week.
