Cheryl, sometimes the ship will anchor out at sea off the shores of Playa Del Camen and a tender will come out and pick up passengers. It will take you ashore where you will board air conditioned buses en route to the Mayan Ruins. They are quite amazing and well worth the money. You have a guided tour at the ruins and they point out lots of interesting things and tell a lot of the history of the Mayans. Usually the bus stops at a little market area with restrooms on the way back. A tender will then take you over the to the ship in Cozumel.

Cheryl...We were in Cozumel last month and went to Paradise Beach. It was a miserable rainy day so the beach was out but we still had a wonderful time and had some of the best guacamole I have ever had. Hopefully you will be there on a nice day - it's a great place to spend some time in Cozumel.

In the future, if you post your questions over on the Cruise discussion forum you will probably get more replies. A lot of Crazies do not check in on the New Members forums too often.
