Crown Princess cruise 4/28/07

:cool: Hi all,

Anybody planning to sail the Crown Princess 4/28/07? The more the merrier! Looking for some info on the new Crown, my wife and I Honeymooned on the Old Crown (still don't know what happened to it :huh: ) but if you have any info let me know,ok!?

The old Crown Princess until this year is the AIDAblu. As of 2007, she will be transferred to the Ocean Village brand as the Ocean Village 2.

I am not going on your cruise, but I did sail on the new Crown Princess this past July, and loved the ship. I was on the 3rd cruise, and it had a mishap on the very next cruise where the ship tilted during a sharp turn. It has had no incidents since. There are already a couple of reviews of this ship in the "Reviews" section.

We are looking at possibly doing the southern caribbean in '08- we have to see if we can. We'll look forward to hearing your feedback!

Stephanie I will definitley let you know how it turns out..both my wife and I are experienced cruisers (although we do prefer an interior cabin :grin: ) so we have a little bit to compare it to; alot of the cruises we have been on are now defunct (Dolphin; our favorite,Commodore, The old Crown Princess, NCL;the worst in our opinion, and Carnival) We are thinking of eventually trying MSC, celebrity and RCL....but first this Cruise ONLY 163 DAYS AWAY!!!! :tongue: :cool:

We too are thinking of doing the Southern route out of San Juan April 19, 2008! I am planning on booking while onboard the Star in January, to take advantage of the FCC and onboard booking credits! I believe I will book into group space, for the double the amenities...LOL!

Be sure to take advantage of their FCC program!

What is the FCC :huh: ? Guess it's something new; but double the ameniteies...you can book into group space (with the hefty discount?),onboard discounts? It seems their sweetening the deal for cruisers to book again...I definitley will check it out because I am a cruising nut (crazie) and I also like to save money...although it's been harder latley.

I eventually need to go to Austrailia, to scatter my mom's ashes...she always wanted to go to Austrailia I figure.......it's a good way to honor her memory :sad: . So maybe :wink: I can save some money to...I don't think she'd mind!
