Mebert
Sorry about that. Somehow I double posted.
Mebert
I voted no because if I were married, the single supplement would be community property and I wouldn't want to spend it. I'd find a friend to cruise with and let them pay the other half. Cruising with someone else is so much more fun and safer even though you split up once in a while. mercedes
My DH would never do that, we always travel together or not at all
mercedes
I voted no for the reasons mentioned below
mercedes
I should have said above.
JohnG
I traveled twice last year without my spouse, who doesn't have enough vacation time to travel as much as I can. I attended a seminar at sea on RCCL to Canada and New England, where I had never been, and enjoyed it. I did a Western Caribbean for a conference. But then, I was in the Navy for 20 years and often was sailing, and visiting ports without a spouse. I just like to travel.
Suzila
I wouldn't be going on a cruise alone, unless it was for a business meeting. Hubby and I have discussed this often...taking separate vacations, and we both have no desire to do so. My brother and his wife take separate vacations all the time, then one big one together each year. I feel the same as Mercedes does on this one. KeithnRita
The only cruises we've been on is together, and that's the way it will remain!
Rat
I would definitely cruise solo in a heartbeat! Actually, I've cruised solo without my family 5 times. My daughter is still in school so someone has to stay home with her. I don't like paying double fare, but the best sailings are usually during school time!
