Cruising Alone

I'd probably go..if I could get my sisters or a friend to go along. I'm on the shy side and I don't think I'd have a very good time alone. My sisters and I take a vacation together, just the 3 of us, every June and have a ball, but we also take a vacation every year with our spouses, either all of us, some of us or just as a couple.

Almost 36 % so far say they would be willing to cruise without their partner but not alone.... it would have to be with a Friend or family member.

Which leads me to ask this followup question.

Assuming Security and safety is a given ....and you would be in NO HARM ...

Why wouldn't you embrace the chance for solitude?

I can’t imagine a time when I would not want to be with my DH, we have so much fun together, whether it is vacationing or simply sitting quietly together. I know some people feel that they need "space" sometimes, not me :smiley:

I've had space and been alone and it's no fun! I have my three daughters, however they now have their own families. Until I met Rita, all I did was work. We have to much fun together to be separated! We are a team!

I do not disagree one bit with either assessment .... HOWEVER :wink: If your partner buys you a gift with love because they want you to have it and you refuse what does that send your partner?....

My DH feels the same way I do, so he would never buy me such a gift.

It sounds like a tough call Joey, especially if you don't want to cruise alone. I would discuss this further with my partner.
