btate
I have to admit, this is my first time sailing with Princess. Just got docs today. . . Don't sail for another 2 months plus?! There are luggage tags - No cabin assignments. . No numbers on them. . and just instructions to go to the web site to register and print out a boarding pass. . . I have only sailed Royal Caribbean so far, and their process seemed pretty easy. It made sense when they send out docs. . . This just seems a bit early? I know Princess is just moving to the eticket, but not sure how well they thought this through? Seems like more work for me in the long run? I do like that they sent out a Cruise Answer book that answers just about everything you can think of from formal wear, to contacting the ship to passport regulations to dining. . . Booklets are very well put together and well planned out. . . Very informative. Perhaps they are just wanting to cut down on postage a bit? Needless to say, I am excited to sail the Grand Princess. sailingrose
Dancing for you! They may be the pre-tickets, not the actual tickets. Princess sends that stuff out about 2 months early but we'll dance with you one way or another! Congrats
JohnG
With Princess eDoc program, you need to go to the Princess website, go to Cruise Personalizer, and fill out the immigration and credit card forms and then by 75 days prior to the cruise, you can print out the document fine print they used to send with tickets, the Cruise Summary which is your boarding pass, Air Summary if you purchased Air, vouchers for pre-purchased excursions or Lotus Spa, and confirmation if you purchased transfers from Princess. That's all you will get, or need. You already received what Princess calls the pre-cruise package.

TheSkipper
Byron, I think you will enjoy Princess, they do a nice job. We have done 20 cruises with them and ten with RCI, and give Princess a slight edge. Their eCheck in is the wave of the future, I think we will see most of the cruise lines using something like that before next year is over. Congrats on you docs, and enjoy your cruise.
