On the summer cruises we take, I love the cut melons- canteloupe , honeydew and the pineapple. I can't get enough of that on our cruises.

On the winter cruises, I love the cooked, seasoned vegetables that Carnival serves one night.

Actually, I love everything. That's why I always put on a few.

My favorite is also the unlimited fruit.

That's actually what I miss the most when we get off the ship. It's a pain in the neck to have to cut all that fruit. I usually end up just having a banana or an orange, apple, etc., rather than cut it all up and serve it together.

I loved all of the cold soups also! Especially the strawberry creme one! Frank wouldn't even try them - soup is supposed to be hot....

We both loved the grilled ruebens from the deli. Shared one just about every day for lunch.

I can't think of anything I really didn't like! Maybe that's why I gained those pounds!

YES, Carnival has cold soups and very good ones too. My favorite is always creme brulee of any sort but I do love those cold soups. Delish! Oh, yes, following close behind is ANY seafood or shellfish and eggs benedict. Let's see! H-m-m-m . . . hazelnut ice cream, heck, any dessert, and a great big Miami Vice (I don't suppose that's technically food but oh so good). I know, I know too many choices but hey, that's what cruising is all about! Right?

My favorite is not a specific food, but a specific combination of foods.

At home, I'm very careful about my intake of fat. I am, mostly a vegetarian, with a decent amount of chicken, turkey and fish thrown in. I will even, very occasionally, eat beef. I use egg beaters and eat turkey bacon.

So, when I'm on a cruise, I always take one morning where I go to the breakfast buffet and eat everything, and I do mean Everything, I don't ever eat elsewhere.

Now you know why I have to go on 3-4 cruises a year
