SCIROCCO
UH! Having to get Off the ship at the end of the cruise but I think its having Rude Tablemates who dont talk to you and when they find out what you do for a living they prejudge and talk about all the bad things involved in our Profession usually I dont tell them just for that reason! But sometimes they are persisitent about your Profession I dont know why but people are more interested in what you do for a living instead of talking about other things Like the cruise, Hobbies or just General things! Sorry to go on but you asked for it! LOL!
hamster92256
Robert I have the best answer for people that ask my profession - I tell them I'm doing 25 to Life in a NY correctional facility and they let me out for good behavior But back to the original subject - I hate the long lines to board the ship and the long lines to get off!!! Gregswife
Well, mine sort of has to do with disembarkation...it is the process of it. The long waiting for them to call your luggage tag color...
elva
robert i thought i was the only one with a "scum" job. now back to the question what i hate the most i guess would be having the cruise come to an end--- it always seems too short a time. hazelson
Tour personel that tell you over and over again that they don't make any money unless they get tips! We tip anyway - but don't like to be asked for it. Also don't much like having to ask for milk and juices that come from "behind the counter" in the buffet line. I think they should be out for the taking.
saltydog
I dislike and try to avoid the constant photo ops. I especially don't like the business of snapping everyones pic at the formal night dinners. Also not crazy about the pics that they take when you get off in every port. I know, I sound like a grumpy old man but you asked. P.S. Not real fond of the art auctions with all of that 'rare and exceptional art'. cherole
If I can't choose leaving (last time I cried), then I'll go with: 1) Lifevest drill 2) the hassle of delivering & then picking up your passport later while on the ship 3) The fact that (on Celebrity) the coffee bar doesn't make coffee drinks to go in little Starbucks type cups. You have to sit there and enjoy it. I'm one of those people who likes to walk around sipping lattes all morning. I inquired and understand the environmental reasons why. 4) The mixed drinks around the pool were not that great (Celebrity) 5) The weight that magically appeared on me by the time I got home. Gee, I sure came up with a lot!

elfed
Another great question. Well a few things spring to mind. Firsty smoking. I think at least one ship in a cruise line's fleet should be non smoking, like the Paradise USED to be. Secondly, ban childen from the adult hot tubs by having a cruise line employee assigned to the pools.Pool bands! they are for the most part dreadful- lacking in polish and rehersal.Boring table mates who only want to talk about themselves with absolutely no interest in other people. This last item is probably the most frequent gripe we have. Regards, James.
